Time at UENR

The IRO will stand in the stead of the University and receive all International students to Ghana, to Sunyani, then the UENR campus.

All International students must register at the IRO before they can go ahead with their semester and course registration. Any student who fails to pre-register will not be allowed to register for their semester courses.


The following are needed for the pre-registration:

  • Original passport containing your study visa valid for study at UENR and entry stamp received at the port of entry to Ghana.
  • Proof of payment of fees or letter of sponsorship.
  • Proof that you have medical aid cover.
  • Photocopies of all the above.

Orientation and Registration

The university offers an orientation for all fresh students every first semester of the academic year before lectures begin. IRO participates in this orientation to interact with fresh international students.
