International Relations Office

Our Story

The International Relations Office (IRO) is an outreach arm of the Vice Chancellor’s Office with the mandate to facilitate, promote and coordinate all University’s external relations with regard to visiting scholars, International students, Research Collaboration and Funding and other external staff training programmes. The Approved Statute 57 and Schedule C15 of UENR further enforce the name of this office and its mandate. The purpose of the office is to ensure that, UENR establishes academic and scholarly mutual cooperative linkages with International Universities, Institutes and Companies around the world to support UENR to train the next generation of African young experts with the needed skills and tools to accelerate the African Continent towards the African Union Agenda 2063.

Mission

The Mission of the International Relations Office is to; Facilitate Intercultural and Global relationships. Provide counselling, advocacy and support for international students and local students on exchange to achieve success in their educational endeavours. Offer Staff and Students’ Exchange Programme opportunities for international study and research outside of Ghana. Maintain partnerships efforts of the University through promoting and supporting of teaching, research and service to national and international community.
