Check the official Ghana visa information and ask Ghana Immigration Service or the Ghanaian mission serving your country which route applies to your passport and study purpose. Start preparations after accepting your offer, and time any application to its validity period.
Keep your passport, admission letter and travel documents accessible. The official applicant guide states that visa approval does not guarantee entry and requires yellow fever documentation. Check current instructions and any applicable health exemption with the responsible authority.
Email your flight itinerary to iro@uenr.edu.gh to discuss arrival guidance and whether airport pickup can be arranged. Obtain confirmation of the meeting point, timing, costs and onward travel before relying on a pickup.
Confirm where you will stay and which UENR campus you need to reach. Use the UENR accommodation portal for housing information; confirm availability and your booking directly.

Ghana Immigration Service states that foreign nationals admitted to a Ghanaian school need a student permit to reside during their studies. Its student permit checklist includes an application letter from the school, admission and fee documents, a passport, photographs and a Non-Citizen Identification Card; additional documents may apply.
